How does it work?

Before the meeting:

Please make your $100 payment at your earliest convenience:

• Text "GWYLNKY" to 44-321

• Submit online here

• Send your payment through Venmo to @Horizon-CFNKY

• Mail a check (memo: Give Where You Live NKY 2020) to 50 E. RiverCenter Blvd., Suite 431, Covington, KY 41011

Please also consider submitting your nonprofit name in advance to Tess Brown at tbrown@horizonfunds.org, or call or text 859.620.8221. Having as many nominations submitted ahead of time will be a HUGE help to keep things running at our next meeting!

AT the meeting:

• Login using the Zoom link a few minutes early, especially if you’re not familiar with Zoom.

• If you didn’t submit your nonprofit ahead of time, please use the chat function on Zoom and indicate your first and last name with your chosen nonprofit.

• When everyone has checked in and submitted a name as they wish, the list of each nominated nonprofit will be displayed next to the nominating member. That way, if you want to give away your pitch opportunity to another member if your name is drawn, you can see your options.

• After the three minutes has passed, three names will be chosen at random. Those three make their pitches! Still no props allowed. After the three pitches, there will be a link to cast your vote in the chat box.

• From there, we’ll count the votes, prepare the check, and make the big announcement! We’ll have someone from GO Pantry and Family Nurturing Center “swing by” to share an update with the group as votes are counted.
